Abstract :
Nowadays, the competitions between companies are becoming more and more fierce, so the business processes of a corporation must make necessary adjustment according to the requirements. Meanwhile, workflow model must have the ability of well describing the business processes. And it also has to handle various kinds of possible exceptions. According to the possible exceptions during the execution of workflow, an exception-monitoring model based on Petri nets is established in this paper. The model is also being testified. And in doing so, an exception-handling algorithm is proposed. That enables the workflow to have a certain degree of ability of adaptive and flexible.
