Abstract :
This paper describes a reduction technique to be applied on complex-valued measurands within comparisons. To fully describe a complex-valued measurement result including uncertainties five independent parameters are required. To evaluate the equivalence of two complex-valued measurement results, the ten parameter of two complex-valued measurands (five each) are reduced to one scalar value.
