Abstract :
This paper describes the frequency extension from 10 kHz to 100 kHz of a system for the calibration of ac-dc thermal transfer standards against a pulse-driven Josephson voltage standard. Higher frequency operation requires careful consideration of the systematic error introduced by the on-chip inductance of the Josephson array, as well as careful selection of connecting cables. These considerations are discussed, and measurements using two different pulse sources are compared.
