Abstract :
It is essential to save limited storage of proxy cache for Video-on-demand service to reduce the server cost. To solve the issue, this paper proposes the prefix cache allocation with minimized server bandwidth which is determined by the video request rate. To minimize cache size, the harmonic multicasting method is applied.
