  • Abstract
A differential equal gain transmission (DEGT) scheme is proposed for limited feedback systems. The DEGT scheme not only utilizes the temporal correlation of wireless channels but also has per-antenna equal gain property. The proposed scheme generates a small amount of perturbation and add it to the previously determined precoder. Thereby, the transmitted signals have inherent low PAPR comparing with the conventional differential systems having the total-power constraint property. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme tracks the temporally correlated channels accurately while providing significant improvement in terms of the achievable throughput comparing to the LTE codebooks.
