Abstract :
Many standards have been developed and approved by the ITU and others in the area of low and high bandwidth teleconferencing. With both audio and video transmission market requirements, it is well known that wired teleconferencing has compromises. In the near future, wireless teleconferencing will be in higher demand and will present additional challenges for both software and hardware developers. This paper discusses some of the present compromises and future challenges of the wired and unwired world of teleconferencing
