Abstract :
A self-calibrating decade inductive voltage divider with coaxial-cable winding is designed for voltages up to 1000 V and frequencies from 50Hz to 1000Hz. Coaxial-cables are used for the ratio winding to minimize the influence of the internal capacitance currents. A reference winding is added to conduct the self-calibration. Meanwhile, an intercomparison between CEPRI and NIM is done to evaluate the accuracy of the calibration system at CEPRI. Furthermore, the inductive voltage divider serves as prototype for a common project with the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Germany.
