Abstract :
In this paper, a novel wideband leaky wave antenna using a composite right-/left-handed transmission line for UHF band are proposed. The antenna is composed of a ladder network less than one wavelength. Transmission and radiation characteristics of the leaky wave antenna are measured. The fabricated leaky wave antenna has flat gain characteristics from 400 MHz to 700 MHz.
