Abstract :
This paper reports a methodology followed to characterize an open-area Antenna Calibration Test Site (CALTS). Guidelines for validating a CALTS are given in CISPR 16-1-5 edition 06-2012 standard. The method employed, however, provides an extended characterization of the site by applying the validation criteria of the standard at nine locations on the site instead of only one. Two validation criteria were employed and it was confirmed that CENAM´s antenna calibration facility is uniform and compliant with the strictest requirements of CISPR.
