  • Abstract
Kinetics of radiation-induced conductivity (RIG) in disordered dielectrics is considered. The results obtained for the dispersive hopping RIC are similar to those obtained for trap-controlled RIG. This permits to understand why the model of trap-controlled transport and recombination is able to explain many experimentally observed characteristic features of carrier transport and RIC in materials in which transport is not governed by extended states. Thermally-stimulated currents in disordered hopping systems are also discussed
