Abstract :
Polyethylene naphthalate dicarboxylate (PEN) films with various degrees of planar orientation were prepared by uniaxial and biaxial stretching. A linear relationship between the mean trap depth calculated from Thermally Stimulated Current spectra and the degree of planar orientation was observed. The structural origin of local states of PEN electret was proposed after X-ray diffraction measurement
