Abstract :
With the recent rise in the use of automotive electronic-control systems and the recent technological advances, intelligent vehicles are increasingly being highlighted. Further, with the increasing integration of many multimedia devices in vehicles, studies on MOST have been actively conducted for the last several years. Vehicles equipped with MOST25 need to replace all MOST150-related devices to receive enhanced services, such as higher bandwidths and Ethernet, incurring high network building costs and consequently weakening their competitiveness. Prompt technological development is needed to address such high costs before it becomes too late. This thesis presented MOST GATEWAY, which can form a network by organically connecting the MOST25 and MOST150 networks. To minimize the delay and data losses caused by the differences in bandwidth between MOST 150 and MOST 25, the existing FIFO, FQ, WRR, and CBQ algorithms were applied to MOST GATEWAY, and the performances were analyzed. Finally, we present an improvement scheme of the efficiency and scalability.
