Abstract :
Originated from the pulse diagnosis of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and promoted by the advanced signal processing technologies, the research on hemodynamic analysis of pulse wave makes it promising to develop the novel mobile cardiovascular monitoring device, which can comprehensively assess the health condition of cardiovascular system. Here an intelligent cardiovascular monitoring device, implemented on an ARM-based mobile platform, is proposed to overcome the drawbacks of the existing commercial systems such as clumsy volume and awkward user-interface, etc. In this paper, the hemodynamic analysis of pulse wave is firstly introduced and then, is the operational mechanism of the commercial systems. The systematic implementation, especially, the signal acquiring and analyzing unit, is also detailed.
