Abstract :
The multifunctional two-coordinate servo drive ensuring two-coordinate positioning and flat surface scanning is discussed in this paper. Presented flexible control algorithm allows positioning in two coordinate space with rapidity, necessary for larger displacement performing under the optimum rapidity condition, while the smaller displacement performing drive automatically ensures linearity of positioning trajectory, and flat surface scanning in such way, that defined size transversal feed steps would be performed just in the time necessary for scanning motion performing drive reverse, which executes out of the exploring area
