Abstract
A novel approach based on the real coded genetic algorithm (RGA) is proposed to improve nulling performance of time modulated linear antenna arrays. The RGA adjusts the excitation amplitude of each radiating element to place deep nulls in the desired direction. Various results are presented to show the advantages of this approach considering one and multiple desired nulls.
