Abstract
Conditions for avoiding subharmonic oscillations and even a chaotic dynamics in a dual DC-DC converter are presented in this paper. The power stage operates with only an inductor, whose current determines the control operation. Under high frequency switching conditions, an approximated one-dimensional map for the current is obtained, taking into account the general occurrence of two asynchronous switching during each cycle
