Abstract :
For urinary incontinence persons like some of the aged, it is useful to inform them their urination desire by an attached sensing system. So far the measurement method using ultrasonic devices has been studied, but it is somewhat perplexing and expensive. Here, a non-invasive urination-desire sensing system based on four-electrodes impedance measurement method is introduced. As a result of experiment using our developed prototype instrumentation system, some relation between the urinary quantity in bladder and the measured impedance values of sensing system was shown
