Abstract :
In his paper a transition from a WR-3 rectangular waveguide to an 85 ¿m wide microstrip line is presented. The transition is a low-cost transition fabricated in a standard lithography process on 5mil thick Rogers RO3003 material. Measurement results will be given and problems, especially those caused by fabrication tolerances with respect to the wavelength, will be discussed.
