Abstract
In this paper, a cascade filter approach is proposed for suppression of multiple FM interferences in the spread spectrum systems. A Kalman-type nonlinear adaptive filter namely, augmented state approximate conditional mean filter (ASACMF) has been formulated for multiple FM interference suppression. Then, this ASACMF is cascaded with the DWT filter. A performance analysis of the proposed cascade filter, the ASACMF, and the DWT filter with different wavelet, is presented for suppression of multiple FM interferences.
