  • Abstract
Mobile WiMAX, one of the high-speed mobile telecommunications networks, has been seeing that Micro-cell and Pico-cell are gradually increasing now. As a result, there were frequent occurrences of Handovers, and a lot of failures in network connection. Within a standard frame of IEEE 802.16, a vulnerability in a Network was pointed out because even though it was an optical Handover, which maintains QoS (Quality of Service) and supports a fast mobility of MS (Mobile Station), it skips authentication procedures with a seamless connection. So this article suggests a high-security a partially-coded Handover method, with a real-time service given, such as VoIP (Voice Over IP) and Video Streaming. A number of evaluations show that this one is superior to other existing ones.
