Abstract :
Contact resistance data are likely to have certain distributions, probably depending on contact conditions. In this paper, the authors attempt to fit the Weibull distribution function curve to measured contact resistance data of Ag, Pd and Cu contacts operated in air and inert gas atmospheres. As a result, it can be said that differences in parameters of Weibull function calculated from the fitting process indicate differences in contact surface conditions.
