Abstract :
In this paper, we consider a dual-hop amplify-and-forward (AF) relay system, where the base station (BS) equipped with multiple antennas communicates with the mobile station (MS) via a relay station (RS). We derive the exact closed-form outage probability for two cases: i) interference only at the MS and ii) interference at both the RS and the MS. It is validated that our analyses agree with the corresponding Monte Carlo simulations.
