Abstract :
Up to now, much interest has been generated by sensor network. This paper presents a network system node for civil engineering application. A modular wireless sensor node communicating to a base station and integrating micro-displacement measurement with 1.4 mu accuracy has been developed. Working life calculated is more than 25 months with total energy autonomy. This system allows to show feasibility of efficient sensor network with low cost off-the-shelves components
