Abstract :
Now enterprise have paid little attention to the application of data collection technique to tools, we can not share information that are not directed to the whole life cycle of tools, it cause that tool´s information is not complete and tool has a poor traceability. In this paper, we studied data needs of the whole tool life cycle management and Data Matrix barcode who was affixed to the tool´s holder is used as the only description of tool. At the same time, we can view basic information of tool directly through barcode equipment which are deployed in the tool management departments or can realize tool´s dynamic information inquiry based on JSP technology through barcode equipment which connect with computer. Thus, it can provide more comprehensive and accurate tool´s information for the various tool management departments. Simultaneously, it enables tool´s information generated by the various use stages shared across the Enterprise, and then helps people make the right decisions.
