Abstract :
A new Internet evolution model based on trade-off optimization is given after the analysis of FKP and other correlative evolution models of Internet in this paper. The new model is improved on the evolution time scale and link insertion strategies. By simulation, the new model has the power law distributions of degrees, small-world phenomenon and minus degree-degree correlation under some conditions. And the exponent of the power law distributions of degrees remains stable with the increase of the number of nodes. To some extent, the new model is better for the evolution of Internet than the FKP and other correlative models.
