Hungarian online university: The establishment of a sectoral IT cooperation for the national and international promotion of the new e-learning based trainings

In the past decade a new concept, the concept of lifelong learning came into being. Satisfying this concept might mean the way towards a knowledge based information society and the solution for Europe to become a determining region of the world. With the explosive evolution of the internet and the means of info communication the e-learning as a form of education became an unavoidable opportunity in the area adult training. The international trends show that in the last 1-2 years a new type of globalization and standardization started to take place on the platform of online higher education and in the technology of education. It might be crucial in the life of innovative university whether he can recognize the right answers for these tendencies or whether he is able to join into this emerging new online world of education-service. The development is based on the endeavor above with the establishment of a sectoral IT cooperation for the national and international promotion of the new e-learning based trainings.
