The impact of the 1st Argentinean Engineering students forum in the training of Engineering Students and its influence on education: An organizers´ perspective

The 1st Argentinean Engineering Students Forum was a singular event where students became active participants in the discussion about Engineering Education. It was organized by Student Platform for Engineering Education Development (SPEED), and students from three different universities from Argentina. The goal of this paper is show the results from all activities developed in the 1st FAEI, as an example or model of methodologies to organize similar future events for any issues. The main activity of the forum was the development of Action Plans that stimulated the students to make a difference and also give them the opportunity and to create a strategic impact in their local communities, helping to improve engineering education in Argentina. We think that this structure can be helpful not only in engineering education problems but also to other problems.
