  • Abstract
In this paper, some difficulties engineering students of a developing country face when taking modern physics courses are analyzed. Starting from a descriptive approach, basic research was done. Results led the process to a second stage, in which some novel techniques for lecturing had to be devised. Additionally, the lack of facilities in our institution was a key factor at the time of deciding the incorporation of online learning resources. This simple research produced great results, some of which are presented in numerical comparison tables. One lecturing technique, developed around the idea of interactive game learning, is presented and analyzed. Further improvements to the teaching and learning process developed can be easily derived.
