  • Abstract
    At present time, the traditional RFID tag antenna for UHF band is mainly composed of types of the changes based on dipole antenna. To search for the new type of antenna for UHF tag, this paper presents a new slot antenna for UHF tag. The characteristic cure of the impedance of the slot antenna is smooth along with the frequency. The antenna is easily matched with the UHF tag chip. The matched result at the 915MHz shows that the performance of the slot antenna is better than the traditional tag antenna. A slot antenna for UHF tag has been fabricated, and the reading distance has been measured with the compatible reader. The result of measurement shows that the slot antenna can basically meet the needs of UHF tag.
