Abstract
Next generation network aims to offer end users a variety of multimode services with diverse quality requirements. To achieve better quality control of these complex and real-time communication services, we propose a service-session database to store and manage these services when the network cannot immediately deliver them to end users. This smart database collects the service sessions that the network temporarily suspends, queues these services in terms of process priority, and delivers them at a proper time. The database is able to process output data on its own according to the information it receives from the exterior communication environment. In order that the database can dynamically react to the changing real-time communication network, we have developed a listening mechanism in this dynamic service session database so that the database is ready to accept any valid changed information at any time. In return, the database is also able to output proper and optimal data via a priority mechanism.
