Abstract
The calibration of PMUs according to the standard IEEE C37.118.1 requires an important amount of data processing before the error on values such as TVE (Total Vector Error), FE (Frequency Error) or ROCOF (Rate Of Change Of Frequency) can be established. The aim of this paper is to present how this processing is implemented in the PMU reference grade calibrator developed at METAS. Calibration results made on a commercial PMU are also presented.
