Abstract :
This paper presents a new representation of the dynamic model of a beam in flexion. Thanks to a 4×4 chain matrix connecting the efforts and velocities of one end to the other of an element of the beam, it is possible to find the dynamic behavior of a system made up of various elements. We apply the chain matrix to the case of a piezoelectric bimorph actuator in order to establish the shape of deformation and axial stress as well as the admittance, according to the frequency
