Abstract :
Incontinence is the inability to control voiding of the bladder. Between 5 and 14 million people in the U.S.A, are incontinent, ranging from young people to elderly in nursing homes. In some forms of incontinence, the patient´s own physiological reflex mechanism call be utilized for treatment; however the mechanisms of action are only poorly understood. The goal of this project is to provide a better understanding of the system by modeling the peripheral control system and the lower urinary tract
