Abstract
This study describes that Chinese consumers´ reaction to the upcoming mobile technology, 3G. Based on the data collected from 2,904 Chinese consumers online, it reveals their awareness of 3G and intentions to purchase 3G mobile phones. Moreover, it shows the different degree of awareness and the purchase intentions between various demographic groups, as well as the relationship between awareness and purchase intentions.
