Abstract
This paper adopted a case study method and explored the impact of firm network relationship on new venture growth on the basis of deep interviews of five high-tech firm and eleven entrepreneurs in Changchun. The results showed that firstly entrepreneurs should not only pay attention to personal capability promotion in previous work, but also should strengthen the establishment of personal network in order to build entrepreneurial team and build all kinds of network relationships. Besides, entrepreneurs need to treat the former firm to be an object of network relationship, and sustain the mutual relationship to get access to key resources. Finally, this paper suggested that it is beneficial to the growth and development of new venture if new venture can establish and sustain a similar network structure as the former firm at the star-up stage.
