Personalized Recommendation Service in the IMS Environments

In this paper, we describe the service generation for providing personalized recommendation service based on Web-service in the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) environments. Because various and many services based on all-IP networks have to be provided to the customer, the service provider must develop value-added services that are like a Personalized Recommendation Service (PRS). The service provider has to generate and serve customized services through analyzing the customer´s profiles and usage patterns that are recorded on the server. We have implemented the IMS infrastructure on which the PRS is simulated. And that can be provided the digital convergence service and the customized service based on the policy of service provider and the recommendation algorithms based on the analysis of user´s profiles and usage patterns.
