Abstract :
In this paper, an application of a Markov model based fault detection method for condition monitoring of a gas turbine engine is considered. The engine Markov model is built using real data obtained from an engine test-bed. The obtained model is applied for real-time gas turbine engine simulation. The comparison of the Markov model performance with other nonlinear engine models is presented
