Abstract :
Long-bone ultrasound tomography study was undertaken in two steps. First we adapted the protocol of acquisition of the ultrasonic signals by taking into account the strongly contrasted medium. Second, we developed a tomographic procedure associating the reflection and transmission through an infinitely long cylinder. This parametric technique was then tested and optimized in-vitro on a human femur
