Abstract :
Hydraulic Energy Storage Transmission System (HESTS) is a novel typical transmission system. Once it is applied in vehicle, it can save on fuel by recovering the inertia energy when the vehicle is decelerated and the over power that comes from the prime mover. The analysis and design of a vehicular HESTS are given. A fuzzy logic controller was designed to control HESTS
