Abstract
This paper proposes a dynamic study of the DC/DC series resonant converter operating with asymmetrical clamped-mode modulation technique. The study includes the synthesis of a suitable averaged large-signal dynamic model and the design of a nonlinear feedback controller based in the input-output linearization approach. The proposed controller provides some outstanding features as: ZVS condition for all the load range, fixed switching frequency operation, fast transient response and robustness in relation to external parameter variations. Simulation and experimental results are presented to highlight the proposed controller performance
