This paper describes the use of the MATLAB analogue simulation toolbox SIMULINK for dynamic modelling of a vector controlled reluctance synchronous motor (RSM) drive system. A dynamic model for a reluctance synchronous motor (RSM), based on two-axis theory is developed. The dynamic and transient performance is studied through simulation and the results are presented
