Abstract :
The dc voltage of traction power modules is provided by uncontrolled diode and phase-controlled thyristor rectifiers in the present feeding system of high-speed maglev vehicles, Shanghai. However, there are distinct advantages to replace it with multi-module PWM rectifier. This paper gave a new configuration based on multi-module PWM rectifier and adopted the synchronous PI current control scheme according to the operating characteristic of maglev vehicles. Two kind of harmonic cancellation methods, asymmetrical regular sampling SVPWM and delayed sampling technique, were proposed in detail. The effectiveness of the proposed control approaches are validated by simulations and experiments
