Abstract
A new interpolation technique is presented. The method avoids all bias concerning presupposed analytic functions. The method has been implemented into a TCAD framework by developing a Metropolis algorithm in an an arbitrary number of dimensions. It is in particular very suitable for design problems where nonlinear dependences are dominant and hints for appropriate factor or response transformations are lacking.
