Abstract
During trigging of Gas generators in Aliabad power plant by trigger system (SFC made by ABB company), the generated current harmonic during trigging causes negative impacts on voltage of local power distribution network, this problem caused Flicker on lighting system of administrative units. In order to clarify the problem, the current samples at different operating frequencies of generator were recorded from feeding bus of the trigger system. By examining these figures it was determined that the value of the fifth harmonic produced by the trigger system is higher than standard value. To resolve these issues appropriate solutions were proposed.
