Abstract :
The multiple beam klystron amplifiers (MKA) (Korolev, 1968) ensure higher microperveance value of an electronic beam, a reduction of an operating voltage, expansion of a device bandwidth. Thus the overall efficiency and output power is increased and overall dimensions of the device are decreased (Sandalov et al., 1997). The physical processes which are going on in the MKA electron gun of are described, and the basic equations of computer code multi-beam electron gun-Moscow State University (MBEG-MSU) developed for the theoretical analysis of electron-optical systems are presented. The goal is developing of MBEG-MSU computer code that can run on PC computer and be useful of the CPU time and user friendly interface. With this purposes the fastest numerical methods are employed
