Abstract :
This paper presents a novel design for SIW bandstop filters. The network comprises a substrate integrated waveguide, SIW, cavity resonator coupled to a strip line to give a bandstop response. This is the first time such a bandstop SIW filter has been demonstrated. All simulation was done in HFSS and ADS Momentum. The fabricated filter is small and compact, operating at a frequency of 9 GHz.
