Abstract :
This paper describes the development of a 6 to 18.5 GHz active bandwidth; 115-175 watt CW high power mini TWT suitable for commercial and EW applications. This device has 35 dB small signal gain at the band edges to achieve low noise power density. The TWT mechanical envelope is a compact, 9.6 inches package. The typical prime power consumption is less than 580 watts with a three stage depressed collector
