Abstract
This paper presents different ways to realise the sensorless control of the switched reluctance motor (SRM) with a Kalman filter. Several models of the SRM are set up. All models are in the state space format and take magnetic nonlinearity into account. Experimental results taken from a test bench with a DSP TMS320C40 and a fractional horse power 8/6 SRM are shown
