  • Abstract
Fundamental current and its positive, negative, and zero sequence components detection is the foundation of monitoring power system operation characteristic parameters. This paper presents a new method of examining fundamental current considering zero sequence components for three-phase four-wire system based on coordinate transformation. Combined with improved instantaneous symmetrical component method, the new method could examine fundamental current of three-phase four-wire system, including positive, negative, and zero sequence components. The MATLAB simulation results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
