Abstract
This research proposes a new method of stability robustness bounds developed for the application to practical design problems. The dynamics of a two-stage electrohydraulic servovalve with a drain orifice is modeled and the proposed method is applied. A numerical example shows that the new method significantly improves the “conventional” bounds providing less conservative estimates. The new method is effectively applied to the electrohydraulic servovalve design
